  41. To determine the meaning of a Sad Mac error code, perform the following steps from this window.

  44. Find the Macintosh model which displayed this error and select it by clicking next to the family. Note: Sad Mac error codes are only found on Macintosh 128k, 512k, 512ke, Mac Plus, Mac SE, Mac SE30, Mac II and Mac Portable models. Most later model Macintoshes don‚Äôt have these codes built in and will not display them if start-up fails. Use ‚ÄúNone of the above‚Äù for Macintoshes that are not specifically listed.
